It’s during Chorus Battles that we get to see the true nature of some people, so no, not very fun, and yes, very overrated. =\ In fact, it’s thanks to the recent Vocafusion battle that made me realize that.
It’s supposed to help people get along and supposed to let everyone have fun, but when things start to go wrong, everyone starts to point fingers at one another; the “fun” we ought to be having is forgotten and relationships end up turning bad, even if we still smile and say things like “You’re nice and talented; I hope we can still be friends.” It’s at this point that we start to not mean what we say, and all the backstabbing starts.

Reblogging again for this comment. Kallie said something similar, and I completely agree with both of them. At first I was upset I didn’t get asked to be in this battle. Now I’m kind of relieved.

Hi, I think you guys are getting the word “overrated” and all the other crappy feelings that go along with a competitive contest confused. The above comments have nothing to do with a chorus battle being overrated. If you dislike stuff like that then dance competitions, and cooking competitions, and photography competitions, and even solo competitions are “overrated” man.

If you don’t like the drama, don’t join. You should have already known from the start that something involving a large group of people, a short deadline, and eliminations would lead to this. Don’t you watch reality TV!?

Okay last reblog on this I swear.
